Etsy Love - Spirited Away

Within the first 5 minutes of this film I was immediately in love. The imagination and creativity of the story and the characters create a visual delight of a film. I love the story line of Spirited Away and could watch it again and again.

No Face is definitely my favourite character, with the Radish Spirit being a close second.

Etsy Love - Totoro

Ok, so I'm late on the Totoro bandwagon! I'm a little embarrassed in the past I have dismissed the Studio Ghibli films since I've never been a fan of Japanese anime, however I'm now a complete convert.

I watched My Neighbor Totoro for the first time a couple of weeks ago, and now I'm hooked. I love how creepy yet adorable this film is.

I've just watched Spirited Away (I'll post some Etsy Love for it next week) and plan to watch Ponyo pretty soon. I wish I could just spend my whole summer holidays making Studio Ghibli fan art!

Ganguro

Ever since I discovered Ganguro fashion a year or so ago, I've wanted to do something artistic with this look. I'm currently working on some Ganguro inspired pieces for the PonyChops shop. I'll post pics up soon!!

New shoes!!

Just thought I'd show off some hand painted shoes I did for a customer. They're both sold but I have some very similar ones to the strawberries for sale here. I'm taking commissions so feel free to message me via my etsy to discuss any shoes you would like hand painting.

Bear Week!

Ponychops are so excited about bears at the moment that we decided to dedicate a whole week to them. There will be cake recipes, make up tutorials and of course our top picks of high street and etsy bear fashion!
