Vegan Business Cards

I can't remember how I came accross these vegan business cards, if it was one of you lovely lot please let me know and I'll give you credit.

I think they're a funny, yet functional idea. I'm so fed up of having to explain veganism to each and every person who asks me. Maybe someone could come up with a giant business card that explains why I'm a vegan so I don't have to explain myself to everyone? Or maybe I should just get it tattooed on my forehead?

  1. These ae awesome! I haven't gotten any of the typical questions yet, but I fully expect to eventually. Have you heard Colleen Patrick Goudreau's Food for Thought Podcast? She has some great things to say about dealing with people.

    1. No but I definitely need to check it out tomorrow! I'll have it on while I'm painting. You're lucky you haven't had any questions yet. The protein one dosn't bug me, but lots of people think me not ordering meat when we go out for a meal is an invitation for a heated debate lol.

  3. But you can eat fish if your vegan, right? ;)

    1. Haha yeah! My gran says a lot of stuff like that bless her, she thought sausages were ok for some reason too lol, and goats cheese!! Haha, she tries to understand though.

I'm thinking of compiling a list of peoples reactions/arguements. I'm always hearing the "If we didn't eat cows/chicken/lambs/pigs there would be no reason for them so there would be hardly any around". I could rant about that one forever. Maybe I should start a new blog for my angry vegan ramblings.

    2. Aww!
      Yes, that's a good idea
I've have people genuinely seem pissed off that I don't eat have dairy.
And a lot of people argue if we didn't eat animals the world would be overrun with them
I try to avoid situations like that but it's hard
I'm happy to explain things to people, but when they have an attitude it so irritating

    3. Exactly! It's fine when people want something explaining, as long as they don't act like you're doing them a personal disservice by not eating meat/dairy/eggs! I try and just ignore situations like that too, but it's sooo hard not to get in a full on arguement when someones nasty about it!

  5. I just read Claire's comment above about people thinking it's okay to eat fish. hahaha I get asked that all the time. I say, "I don't eat anything that was alive and breathing." I try not to be a smartass about it, but it does get old. ;)
