Remake & Remodel - The inspiration

Most design subjects at uni require you to show your ideas through colour boards and mood boards. Here are the inspiration boards for my Remake & Remodel project. As you can see, my main inspiration came from bacteria and the simplistic 3D shapes of DNA. I wanted to combine the bright, business of the bacteria with simple and futuristic shapes.

Etsy Love - Nature Rebranded

Lately I've been thinking up a new concept for my next design project. I've chose to explore nature and man made, particularly the combination of nature and modern materials.

Of course, it wouldn't be right to start my sketchbook before searching Etsy for some beautiful inspiration.

Etsy Shop Crush: Kumeko Design

Kumeko are a modern design company based in Prague. They make eye catching knotted floor cushions, inspired by traditional knitting and weaving techniques. They also do really cute scarves that look similar to their floor cushions.

I'm a bit of a texture freak, so I'd love one of these cushions in my house. I'd probably touch it far too much though.
