Stasia Burrington Giveaway

Today I want to introduce you all to the art and jewellery of Stasia Burrington. I first discovered Stasia on Etsy a few weeks ago, and she's very kindly offered to do a giveaway for a piece of her jewellery. I recently discovered Stasia's website and portfolio too, where you can check out more of her beautiful illustration and art work.

I love this quote from Stasia, I think it sums up her style so well:

"I create personal, intimate, edgy and cute artwork; I want to inspire discussion, to form connections, and to respond to all this pain and beauty that we live in... to share all these human feelings, and to inspire compassion and humility."

And now for the Giveaway!
The winner of this giveaway gets to pick any piece of jewellery from Stasia's Etsy Shop.

Etsy Finds: Donut you want me baby?

Ok, probably the cheesiest title for my Etsy finds yet... I've been craving donuts a lot lately, possibly because I've been painting donut shoes (here and here). I really need to get myself a donut pan and try out some of these amazing vegan donut recipes I keep seeing on pinterest. But in the mean time, I'm satisfying my craving with some good old fashioned Etsy window shopping.

Etsy Shop Crush: JDStar

I love the nostalgic feeling I get when I think of friendship bracelets. It takes me back to when I was 9, listening to Hanson CDs with my best friend Emma and daydreaming about ponies and dogs (To be honest, not much of this has changed!). We almost always had friendship bracelets or friendship necklaces of some sort. Why does this have to end as adults? The idea of giving my bestie a piece of jewellery to represent our friendship sounds absolutely awesome to me.

The first thing that struck me about JDStar was the amount of love and thought that goes into their friendship bracelets. After all, they're friendship bracelets, they SHOULD be made with a whole load of love. JDStar hand weaves her bracelets on a loom made by her and her mom. You can't get much more hand made than that!!

Another thing I like about these beautiful bracelets is the attention to detail. The colours are always perfectly matching. They also look super comfy and durable! The kind of bracelet you could wear for all occassions.

Meet Polli

Do you remember the little Daschund brooch I wore a couple of weeks ago? Well I'm so obsessed with it that I decided to show off some more things from Polli.

Polli are an Australian company that you just have to fall in love with. Not only are they committed to local industry and reducing carbon emissions, they also often use recycled materials in their jewellery. What makes this shop even more sweet is the amazing designs they come up with. I'm an absolute sucker for colour and pattern, and Polli satisfy my craving for both.

What I love about this shop the most is the materials they use. I love their wooden jewellery the best, and the beautiful woven pieces too. I think the added texture on the woven jewellery makes them look so luxurious and interesting. (Eeeeek how cute is this doggy brooch??? I think it's going to have to go on my wishlist for Christmas!)

Polli also so unique and stylish homewares. I'm particularly in love with their Gum Tree Jewellery Stand and the Amsterdam Jewellery Stand. I'm in need of a beautiful jewellery display so I'm saving up for the Amsterdam one.

I also love their Christmas decorations, I think the star decorations are so adorable! I could just buy them all!

Etsy Shop Feature: Solé designs

I've been a fan of Solé designs for a while. I love the way the jewellery is so nature inspired but still full of colour and fun. And how the jewellery is displayed on vintage style wallpaper to add to the ageless look of these beautiful pieces.

Solé designs was created by Katia (who a few of you may know from her blog, Kitty Snooks), a Canadian crafter who's inspired by nature and the little things in life. Katia is hosting a giveaway for one of her lovely creations on her blog right now.

Which is your fav Solé designs piece? The last pic has to be my fav!

Etsy Shop Feature: Sweet Bestiary

Sweet Bestiary is a UK based shop selling adorable & unique sculptures & jewellery. What I love most about Sweet Bestiary is the attention to detail. Not only are these little sculptures beautifully crafted, but they're also hand painted with great detail, and photographed in a way that compliments the jewellery/sculptures so well.

Sweet Bestiary also has a facebook page where you can see more lovely work.
Which is your favorite Sweet Bestiary item? Mine has to be their adorable mini mountain landscape.
