Ahoy Octopus!

I love it when someone orders a pair of octopus shoes! This is my fifth pair of octopus shoes so far, it's been really fun to think up different ways to do the same theme. For this particular pair, the customer wanted pirate octopi in her fav colours; pink and aqua/turquoise.

I'm so happy with how these turned out, and I'm still totally in love with the new style of high heels I have in stock.

Etsy Finds: Donut you want me baby?

Ok, probably the cheesiest title for my Etsy finds yet... I've been craving donuts a lot lately, possibly because I've been painting donut shoes (here and here). I really need to get myself a donut pan and try out some of these amazing vegan donut recipes I keep seeing on pinterest. When Donuts Fly

I wanted to show you guys a pretty fun custom order I got to work on. I love donuts, pastels and clouds, so I kind of wanted to keep this order for myself. I'm really happy how they turned out. I hope their new owner takes them on lots of outings to the donut shop.

The Dainty Squid and her Kitty shoes!

I've been meaning to post these photos for almost a year now, I'm so forgetful! Some of you may remember, last year I painted a pair of shoes for Kaylah from The Dainty Squid.

I'm a big fan of Kaylah's blog, so it was an honor for my shoes to be featured on it. I based the shoes on her lovely cats. It was one of my first sets of cat orders, I seriously can't get enough of painting cats on shoes!

These photos were taken by Kaylah for one of her outfit posts, you can see the full post here. I think we'll all agree that she absolutely rocks this look, I can't imagine anyone more suited to kawaii kitty brogues than Kaylah.

Zelda Brogues

I did these Zelda fan art shoes a few months ago, they were one of my favorite projects to work on. I love taking inspiration from others drawings and work to create my own, it definitely helps me learn to progress my own style.

The Original Skull Brogues

These were my first set of skull shoes! I was inspired by rockabilly style. I still love these colours together, what's better than bubblegum pink and mint green?
