Interior inspiration

It's almost time to move! So I've been looking at decor for my lovely new room. The room is a really bright room with lots of light and a beautiful bamboo floor, so I'm wanting to echo that in the decor. I'm hoping that in moving (and selling half of my stuff) I'll be able to focus on a more minimal and tidy room instead of my usual style of covering every surface possible with little dog ornaments. I'm sure there will still be room for my poodle tea set in my new room though ;)

1. I've never been a fan of yellow until recently, now I'm obsessed with yellow geometric prints. I think this cushion from Fine Fresh Design will compliment the blue bedding and pink rug so well.

2. I saw this little guy in Urban Outfitters London last Tuesday and immediately fell in love, I think he'll be perfect on the back of the door to hand my coat or dressing gown on.

3. I think this zig zag rug from Urban Outfitters will go so well with the blue Mod Cloth bedding.

4. I love this blue geometric bedding from Mod Cloth. I'm obsessed with pattern and colour, so this is right up my street.

5. I literally let out a squeal when I saw this wallpaper from Wallpaper Direct, it's the most perfect thing ever. My room is only rented so I won't be wallpapering it. But I need to use this beautiful paper to decorate some of my storage boxes.

6. I've always wanted one of these clocks. This one is from Firebox. I think it will balance out the black of my poodle tea set.

Walking in a Winter Wonderland

Every December, me and Ash try and make it down to London to explore Hyde Park's Winter Wonderland. I always look forward to this trip, Winter Wonderland is amazing. I love the wintery smells of mulled wine and cherry mead (my favorite!), the creepy haunted house and the merry reindeer who sings Christmas songs all night long. Sadly, this year we probably won't get time to go (although I think I still NEED to visit Manchester's Christmas market to satisfy my festive craving).

Yesterday Barratts contacted me about being involved in their newest competition, to style a pair of their footwear with a winter themed outfit. When I saw these wellies I knew straight away where I wanted to wear them! To the Winter Wonderland of course! They look so comfy, and perfect for strolling around eating churros and drinking hot chocolate whilst stocking up on fake snow and Christmas presents from the Christmas Market! Plus, they're waterproof, so perfect for exploring Hyde Park afterwards.

Here's how I would style the wellies:

Fruity Fashion

When Mel from My Billie posted this tutorial on how to make geometric collages, I couldn't wait to have a go!

So I used one of her lovely collage ideas to show you some fruity and colourful fashion - after all, Autumn and Winter shouldn't have to mean our wardrobes get gloomier too! Let's wear some sunshie outside, even if the sun isn't shining!

1. Watermelon T Shirt Dress - £30 from Drop Dead
2. Strawberry Socks - $14.99 from ModCloth
3. Pinapple Sweater - £29.95 from Qcumber
4. Fruity Leggings - $70 from Uptights

What I wore #1 - Mustard Madness

I've never done one of these posts before! Mainly because most days I'm a bit of a slob and can't be bothered to put an effort into my make up and hair. My new resolution is to try and do an outfit post at least once a week from now on.

I like this outfit because I love how well mustard goes with my lilac hair. I think I'm going to have to get some lilac tights to go with this dress. I also got some lovely new fake gauge earrings and couldn't wait to show them off!

Dress & Belt: ModCloth
Leggings & Cardi: H&M
Scarf: ChopStitch
Earrings: DewiDesign
Shoes: PonyChops (duh!)
