Walking in a Winter Wonderland

Every December, me and Ash try and make it down to London to explore Hyde Park's Winter Wonderland. I always look forward to this trip, Winter Wonderland is amazing. I love the wintery smells of mulled wine and cherry mead (my favorite!), the creepy haunted house and the merry reindeer who sings Christmas songs all night long. Sadly, this year we probably won't get time to go (although I think I still NEED to visit Manchester's Christmas market to satisfy my festive craving).

Yesterday Barratts contacted me about being involved in their newest competition, to style a pair of their footwear with a winter themed outfit. When I saw these wellies I knew straight away where I wanted to wear them! To the Winter Wonderland of course! They look so comfy, and perfect for strolling around eating churros and drinking hot chocolate whilst stocking up on fake snow and Christmas presents from the Christmas Market! Plus, they're waterproof, so perfect for exploring Hyde Park afterwards.

Here's how I would style the wellies:

Fruity Fashion

When Mel from My Billie posted this tutorial on how to make geometric collages, I couldn't wait to have a go!

So I used one of her lovely collage ideas to show you some fruity and colourful fashion - after all, Autumn and Winter shouldn't have to mean our wardrobes get gloomier too! Let's wear some sunshie outside, even if the sun isn't shining!

1. Watermelon T Shirt Dress - £30 from Drop Dead
2. Strawberry Socks - $14.99 from ModCloth
3. Pinapple Sweater - £29.95 from Qcumber
4. Fruity Leggings - $70 from Uptights
5. Fruit Punch Mini Dress - £16.50 from Motel
6. Fruity Bamboo Bag - £35 from Bow & Crossbones

What I Wore #2 - Cats Brains & Clown Tights

I want to apologise for the poorly taken mirror photo! I had no one around to take photos all day, then when I ventured out of my cave I was in too much of a rush to get a friend to take photos.

Anyway, I'm pretty excited about this outfit! I bought the playsuit a couple of weeks ago and I couldn't be more in love with the pattern. It has little kitties & brains all over it, what's not to love about that?? I also love how the brains bit is kinda subtle too.

Playsuit: Drop Dead
Tights: Ebay
Shoes: Office
Cardigan: Marks & Spencer
Brooch: Thrifted
Watch: Gift

Have fun with Faux Fur

Fur coats always look so warm and cosy, it's like hibernating whilst walking around. And although I'd prefer the hibernating in bed idea, it's not always an option.
I love the look and feel of real fur, but I can't help feel it probably looks and feels much nicer on the animal itself. So I'm all for a bit of faux fur.

Here are some lovely faux fur coats I've found for this Autumn/Winter:
