Wednesday Art Feature: Brooke Weeber

Brooke Weeber is a Portland based illustrator. Her work seems to be heavily inspired by the sea, nature, adventures and Victorian times.

I especially love Brooke's narwhal illustrations, they're so cute! She even sells a narwhal mug in her etsy shop.

Etsy Shop Crush: The Watson Shop

I came accross The Watson Shop while searching for Christmas Decorations (they do Christmas cushions! How awesome!! Shut up about Christmas Chantal.). The first thing that struck me about The Watson Shop is the quirky, vintage vibe I get from their cushion covers. The covers are made from burlap, repurposed from Coffee bags.

I can just imagine these cushions scattered around a coffee shop, the smell of coffee in the air and the crisp, raw texture of burlap cushions seems like a perfect match.

Wednesday Art Feature: Amy Earles

Being a big lover creepy, victorian inspired artwork, it's no wonder that I fell in love with Amy Earle's paper dolls the minute I saw them.

Amy is a talented illustrator, who found a way to evolve her wonderful illustrations into beautiful and delicate paper dolls. The thing I love most about her paper dolls is that they come on a sheet of card, ready to cut out and assemble yourself, making the whole experience more interactive and personal. This also leaves you with a ton of options for framing them, you could frame them on basic plain paper, or on some retro wallpaper or even with a beautiful scene in the background.
