Free 90 Day Fiance Backgrounds

Hi Everyone, It's been a while since I've used this blog - but since I've been furloughed I've had the time to work on a few creative projects recently. I've updated my instagram @ponychops and created new instagrams for my footwear work (@chantallavender_footwear) & illustration (@chantallavender_pattern)

90 Day Fiance has quickly become a favourite TV show of mine, I've basically been binge watching it for months, there are some brilliant quotes and really interesting people on the show. Last week I started working on some prints based on the show of my favourite favourites and villains.

I've turned them in to free phone backgrounds for everyone to use - please don't use them on anything else or to sell as I've worked on these to give people a little cheer up in hard times.

Let me know your favourite 90 Day moments and characters below - or even other reality TV shows I should check out.

Simply just download the photos below and add them to your phone wallpaper :) if you do download them it would be great if you could give one of my instagrams a follow @ponychops or @chantallavender_pattern

You can find some more of my designs available to buy in my redbubble shop.

Desk of the Day - Origami Flowers

Today I'm working on some digital patterns and illustrations based on origami for my latest uni project. I think these patterns look a little geometric and crisp for the look I'm going for so I may have to find a way to re use them.

Desk of the Day 29/08/2013

This week I've had a realllly fun digital portrait order to work on, and I thought I'd give you a sneak peak of it. I've been working on 5 portraits of some girls with really rad style. It's always so fun when I get to illustrate people with unusual hair, make up and fun hats.

If you'd like your own digital portrait, check out my Etsy Shop or email me at ponychopsshop@gmail.com for illustration enquiries.

Desk of the Day 13/06/13 - The Little Bear

Hey everyone! I have some awesome custom orders I'm working on at the moment that I'm really excited about. I'm hoping I'll get chance to post lots of Desks of the Day over the next week or two! Over the past few weeks I seem to have had so many fun projects to work on. I'm so greatful my customers have such fun ideas for me to work on!

This is a project I've been working on a little while, it's for my friend Diana's blog Parents and the City. Remember Little Baby Liberty? This is for the same project. It's taking me a while to finish this project because it's the first blog design I'm doing for someone other than myself, so I want to make it perfect.

This bear is going to be way smaller and may not even make it in to the final design, but I wanted to show you it in a little more detail. Either way it's good practise to be doing more work on illustrator. This guy's not quite finished yet, he needs a few more highlights to make him pop and then we'll see how he looks next to Little Baby Liberty.

Oh and DON'T forget to enter my Pet Portrait giveaway for a chance to win a portrait of your pet by Chopstitch! Only 10 hours left!

Digital Illustration: Olive & Ivy

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of illustrating a portrait of the lovely Chelsea from Olive & Ivy.

Chelsea is a fashionista that likes girly - but not too girly - things, and of course, cats! So I tried to show this in the illustration of her. I had so much fun doing Chelsea's lovely ombre, slightly curled hair.

I did two options for her to choose from, one with glasses and one without. I think I like the glasses one best.

If you'd like your own custom illustration send me an email at: ponychopsshop@gmail.com

My week in photos - 30/05/12

Well, these are more like from the past couple of weeks cause I've been lazy and not taken many pictures lately.

1. My brooch arrived from Gusosos! It's so pretty. I haven't worn it yet but I'm going down to birmingham for the weekend so I'll show it off while I'm there.

2. I decided I want to do some new shoes and a bag for myself. So I'm half way through painting this pair of mocassins and upcycling this vintage bag. Can you guess what it's going to be yet?

3. I'm upcycling lots of vintage bags at the mo. Keep your eyes peeled for some in the shop and a giveaway over the next month :)

4. Playing around with brogues in adobe illustrator for my new blog design. Although I keep leaving it because illustrator is so infuriating!

5. I made a vegan carrot cake for a bbq at the weekend. I was very impressed with my "cream cheese" frosting but not so much with the decoration or the texture of the cake. My recipe still needs perfecting before I put it on the blog.

6. I love lilac!! So I'm painting lots of lilac shoes for the shop right now :)

7. Playing with patterns for some material designs!

8. Nommy vegan chocolate and orange shortbread that I made today. Will post the recipe tomorrow!!

My Weekly Photos 22-04-12

I've had a week full of poorly animals. So I haven't had nearly enough time to focus on work.
First, my oldest dog Holly had to go in for an operation. She had to have 2 tumours and 2 teeth removed, she's 14 so I was terrified she wouldn't make it through the operation. But I'm pleased to say she's home now and back to being her naughty self!
Secondly my loan horse hurt his back. So he has to have at least two weeks off work while we wait for the back lady to come and look at him. He's not very pleased at not being able to work off his energy and tries to squash me at every chance he gets!

Here's my weekly pictures :
1. I started on some hand painted shorts for the shop. I have lots more work to do on these but I'm excited to be painting on a different surface!

2. I spray painted my office chair turquoise. My job for next week is to reupholster the ugly blue fabric to a pretty lilac fabric I've have lying around for ages.

3. I dyed my hair a darker grey. I loved the white grey but my stupid yellow hair kept peeking through. I used Nirvel Nutre Colour Grey. I'm so happy that I mixed it half and half with conditioner to lighten it. otherwise I'm pretty sure my hair would have turned black.

4. I baked a white chocolate and raspberry cake for a girly DVD night with the girls from the yard. I'll post a recipe tomorrow!

5. Working on some scalloped wedges for the shop, they'll be up in the shop tomorrow :)

6. The beautiful Kate from Scathingly Brilliant wore her PonyChops shoes for an outfit post.

7. Kaylah from The Dainty Squid did a post about her PonyChops shoes. I can't wait to see her wear them in an outfit. I think she'd totally rock them!

8. I've been working hard at learning Adobe Illustrator and completed my first proper work on there, a posh pug with a bow. I will post more about this cutie soon as I'm working on some more vectored pugs to make into stickers.
