Fabulous Flamingos

When Tottie from Pouting Penguin asked for some Flamingo heels I was so happy. I love Tottie's fashion sense and the beautiful shoes she features on her blog, so I was very flattered to be asked to paint some shoes for her! Tottie loves pink and turquoise which is one of my favorite colour combinations too!

I have loads more of these heels for sale, so if you'd like your own custom ones send me an email at ponychopsshop@gmail.com

Scrabble & Lalique Matryoshka

As I mentioned yesterday, I'm in New york visiting some friends. When they lived in England they used to have pet budgies. I decided to paint them some budgie Matryoshka based on their budgies, Lalique and Scrabble.

Here's some photos of Lalique (yellow) and Scrabble (blue).

I do custom orders :) send me an email to ponychopsshop@gmail.com if you would like your own pets painted on a set of matryoshka.

Etsy Shop Feature: Double Fox Studio

Double Fox Studio certainly stands out from the crowd on etsy. It's combination of creepy, creative and quirky is bound to make you want to see more.

Double Fox Studio is the creations of two artists: Ildiko Muresan and Flavia Marele. They have been creating art together since 2003. Their shop includes: creepy dolls, unusual jewellery and original art. All of which has an almost childlike charm to it.

Ildiko and Flavia also have a blog where you can check out their newest work.

Etsy Shop Feature: Prince Design UK

I was super excited when I came across Prince Design UK, partially because they are based in the north west of England like I am, but mainly because I love the awesome lace print ceramics they do!

Prince Design UK is the work of ceramicist Elizabeth Prince. Elizabeth has a great eye for colour and texture. Her work is the kind of work you can't resist but touch while you look at it.

Elizabeth also has a blog: Gone to Pot. Where you can keep up with her newest work.

I have fallen in love with these fantastic tights by Tattoo Socks... I especially like the skull ones. They also do socks and stockings so check out their shop.
